Gender can be a sensitive issue. Some women, because of past stereotyping, may be skittish about even just exploring gender differences. They don’t want to be pegged again with “biology is destiny” or turn back feminism’s accomplishments. And who can blame them? My goal is certainly not to continue unfair stereotypes but to provide new insights into the uniqueness of the female mindset and how women can maximize career and life success by using all their assets. That means building on your personal strengths, intelligence, and talent, but it also means leveraging your native strengths, instincts, and preferences as a woman: empathy, verbal agility, people orientation, a collaborative leadership style, and visual identity, among other assets.
