To call the Motorola Droid X another cellphone is to do the gizmo a disservice. Sure, it can make phone calls. More than that, though, it’s a portable technology marvel. As such, the Droid X can be a daunting device. In fact, I know a lot of people who shy away from using their cellphones beyond using its basic phone features simply because of the complexity. That’s sad. The factor that’s probably most intimidating about the Droid X is that it’s a smartphone. People don’t like using devices that they believe are smarter than they are. But trust me on this one it isn’t the phone that’s smart. Nope, even though the Droid X is an amazing piece of technology, it harbors no native intelligence.
